BTS JIMIN will broadcast documentary “Jimin’s Production Diary” that follows the production process of his first solo album

The documentary “Jimin’s Production Diary”, which follows the production process of BTS’s JIMIN’s first solo album “FACE” 10 years after his debut as a singer, will be broadcast for the first time on TV on the CS broadcast “TBS Channel 1 Latest Drama, Music, Movies”. It has been decided that it will be broadcast exclusively.

JIMIN, who is known as a hard worker, faces music seriously, gives form to his thoughts without compromise, and we are looking forward to seeing his success story.

JIMIN is a supreme dancer whose ability to perform supple dance that utilizes his experience in modern dance has been hailed as a national treasure, and at the same time, he captivates fans with his unique and mesmerizing high-tone voice. Possessing the two genius qualities of delicate performance and a super unique singing voice, he took on the challenge of producing a solo album for the first time and created his own musical world, “FACE.”

Production will begin in May 2022, with no end to the pandemic in sight, and release will be in March 2023. Over the course of about 10 months, he created the song little by little while sharing the joys and hardships with three trusted producers from the same agency: Pdogg, GHSTLOOP, and EVAN. This album, which was completed after collecting opinions one by one and following his sensibilities, contains Jimin’s “true face” as the title suggests. He continued to write his own story without turning away from the various negative emotions he had experienced, such as anxiety, anger, and depression over relationships.

BTS members also poured their efforts into supporting Jimin. RM appeared when he was having trouble writing the lyrics for the title song “Like Crazy” and gave him decisive advice. JUNG KOOK breathes new life into the secret track “Letter (Dear. ARMY),” which Jimin created with all his heart for his fans, with a gorgeous chorus.

Finally, this album achieved the 2nd place on the US Billboard album chart “Billboard 200”, and “Like Crazy” became the first Korean solo artist to reach 1st place on the single chart “HOT 100”.

JIMIN persevered and continued to create songs even though he was struggling with hardships. New expressions that have not been seen before are shown, such as the stern face of a person who is holed up in a work room and immerses himself in songwriting, or the innocent smile that spills over when he awakens to the joy of making music. In an interview, he said, “I didn’t want to write down my feelings while recalling the painful events that happened before.However, since it’s my own story, I gradually started to sort it out.I’m grateful.It was a good opportunity for me to realize what I should do in the future.” ”, he said, his face filled with new determination.
