Naniwa Danshi Ryusei Onishi & Joichiro Fujiwara "Theatrical version Nintama Rantaro" dubbing making video released

“Nintama Rantaro the Movie: Dotake Ninja Team’s Strongest Tactician” will be released nationwide on December 20th. The post-recording making footage of Naniwa Danshi’s Ryusei Onishi and Joichiro Fujiwara, who participated as guest voice actors in this work, has been released.

Ever since the anime “Nintama Rantaro” began broadcasting, “Nintama Rantaro” has continued to be loved by a wide range of generations. “Novel: Rakudai Ninja Rantaro Dotake Ninja Team: The Strongest Tactician”, which has been popular among fans and has been popular in various forms such as TV animation, musicals, and live-action movies, has finally been made into a movie.

The director served as the first character designer, and was responsible for the previous work, “The Movie Anime Nintama Rantaro: Ninjutsu Academy All Deployed!” Masaya Fujimori, who also directed “Nodan” (2011). The script will be written by Kazuhisa Sakaguchi, who is the author of “Novel Rakudai Ninja Rantaro: Dotake Ninja Team: The Strongest Tactician” and has also worked on a TV series.

Continuing from the TV series, Ajiado will be in charge of animation production, with familiar faces including Minami Takayama (Rantaro), Mayumi Tanaka (Kirimaru), Sadatomo Ichiryusai (Shinbei), Toshihiko Seki (Hansuke Doi), and others. A gorgeous cast appears. We will be working on this work with exactly the “strongest” lineup.

Naniwa Danshi’s Ryusei Onishi and Joichiro Fujiwara participated as guest voice actors in this work, which is a bit different from the usual “Nintama” and has a serious development.

Naniwa Danshi’s Ryusei Onishi and Joichiro Fujiwara came to the dubbing studio. Onishi, who was acting as a voice actor for the first time on this day, seemed very interested in the dubbing studio, saying, “This is what it’s like!” Director Masaya Fujimori gave a friendly greeting and explained the characters the two will be playing.

Onishi plays Seiemon Sakuragi, a graduate of the Ninjutsu Academy, who “looks like a gentleman on the outside, and is actually an easy-going character, but he has a strong core.” Kanbei Nakoji, a fellow graduate played by Fujiwara, is described as “a straightforward, hard-working type of person,” and is a completely original character created by the original author, Soubei Amago, for this work. Because of this, it was reported that this is a character that will be “created together with the two of you.”

Shotaro Morikubo, who plays Kunamon Zawatari, also participated in the dubbing as a support role. For the action scenes, dubbing progresses while carefully checking each movement. Onishi and Fujiwara also asked questions about acting, and the dubbing ended earlier than planned. After finishing the recording, Morikubo praised it, saying, “It’s seriously amazing! It’s so easy to swallow!”

Fujiwara seemed to be completely focused on the dubbing, saying, “I don’t really know how much time has passed.” Onishi also said, “I was sweating a lot,” indicating that it was a stressful time, but both of them smiled with a sense of accomplishment.

It will be interesting to see how the completely original characters played by the two, Seiemon Sakuragi and Kanbei Wakaoji, will play in this work.
