Arata Sato, a member and center of IMP., is noticed by his teachers for his flashy appearance and rough demeanor, but Sei Asahina, a second-year high school student, is more close to the pain than most people. Additionally, Miho Watanabe, who is widely active as an actress, will play Asaha Mamiya, who one day develops a condition called Adolescent Facial Disorder, where she is unable to recognize her own face. This is the first time that Arata Sato and Miho Watanabe will be co-starring together.
This work is based on the novel “Seishun Gestalt Collapse” by Tomato Marui, and is described as “suppressing one’s individuality and losing one’s self in conformity with others = not being able to see one’s own face.” The story of a girl who suffers from facial syndrome and how she grows through new encounters is a departure from previous youth novels and has been highly acclaimed. The screenplay will be written by Kisa Miura, who also worked on the drama “Eye Love You.”
