Sawabe is surprised by Kamenashi’s behavior, which seems to be the embodiment of a “husband Kanpaku” as he makes a big deal about his wife, but he gradually notices something unusual. Mukai:So far, I have done skits about “Rain-sama” and “Hige Dance”, and I am happy to be able to perform in them every year! There are 9 members, so I’m pretty nervous that the members who were on the show before will change after that (lol). I was in the show before, but I can’t be in it this time (lol).It would be frustrating if that happened, so I felt relieved that the three of us would be able to perform together again this time! Kamenashi:It’s a great honor. When I was a kid, I used to enjoy watching drifting on TV, so I never imagined that one day I would be one of them. I feel like I jumped a whole new level by appearing on a variety show (lol).–What kind of year do you want 2025 to be?
Kamenashi:I want this year to be a year of moving forward strongly, with my eyes set on new things and without forgetting my desire to take on challenges. I thought Drifting was a world far away from mine, so I was really happy to be able to appear in it, and when I told my family, they were all happy, including my grandparents!
