MAN WITH A MISSION “Tales of Purefly” storybook digitally reprinted as “Story Movie”

A digital project has been decided to commemorate the 10th anniversary of MAN WITH A MISSION’s 3rd album “Tales of Purefly” released in 2014.

“Tales of Purefly” is MAN WITH A MISSION’s first concept album that depicts a story through all 13 songs and challenges three-dimensional expression.

The artwork was illustrated by Dynamic Pro, led by Go Nagai, who is known for works such as “Devilman”, and the first limited edition comes with an original storybook inspired by the songs included. It attracted a lot of attention when it was released as a masterpiece that combines an epic sci-fi adventure and action drama with visuals.

The storybook is currently difficult to obtain, and on the occasion of its 10th anniversary, it has been decided that it will be digitally reprinted in multiple languages in order to reach fans all over the world.

The digital reprint of “Story Movie” is a paid video distribution using Stagecrowd. It is a combination of a storybook and songs, and some songs have also been arranged.

It is scheduled to be distributed from December 24th Japan time, and the story subtitles will be available in the original Japanese, as well as English, French, German, Spanish, and Chinese (Taiji). Users can use multiple angles to switch between subtitles in multiple languages, and viewing from overseas is also possible.

There are three types of viewing tickets available: distribution tickets that allow you to download either a Japanese or English digital booklet, and distribution tickets that are only for viewing, and pre-sales will begin from December 17th.

Furthermore, the “Tales of Purefly Complete Box”, which will be released on December 25th, will include a serial number that will enable you to watch this story movie.

MAN WITH A MISSION will be holding an arena tour “MAN WITH A “15th” MISSION PLAY WHAT U WANT TOUR 2025” (11 performances in 8 cities) starting in February 2025. In commemoration of the band’s 15th anniversary, a voting project called “CHOOSE WHAT U WANT ~ALL STAR MY BEST SONGS~” is currently underway, in which fans will vote to determine the 15 songs that will be performed on this tour.
