■Excerpt from interview with Kazunari Ninomiya and Misaki Emura
Q: Please tell us your impressions of shooting the commercial.
Ninomiya:I never expected to see you in a commercial! Although there was a possibility that we would meet at a TV station because of the flow of variety shows and sports programs, we never expected to be together in a commercial, so we talked while we were waiting for something, and we were already watching that commercial. There were times when I could talk about what I was shooting (with Mr. Emura), so we had a lot to talk about.
Emura:I never thought I would be able to work with Mr. Ninomiya on a commercial, and when we actually met, he was really easy to talk to, and he brought out a lot of things from me, so I’m filled with gratitude and it was a lot of fun. .

Q: Please tell us the highlights of the commercial.
Ninomiya:I think one of the highlights of the show is that two people, who are somewhat unusual, discuss their “normality” using the “normality” theme of “making happiness normal.” I see.
Emura:Mr. Ninomiya did some fencing, and I tried my hand at tap dancing. I think it was an opportunity that would have been difficult to do otherwise, so I think it turned out to be a really fun video. .

Q: Please tell us your aspirations for 2025.
Ninomiya:I haven’t had a chance or place to meet my fans for many years, so I’m thinking about creating that kind of opportunity this year and starting preparations.
After all, since various digital aspects have expanded our horizons, I think it is necessary for me to meet physically and feel that I am truly there, so I thought it would be great if I could create such an opportunity even if just a little. Masu.
Emura:I will complete my one big stage performance in 2024, and I am currently reviewing my foundation once again in order to grow to another level from here. Of course there are the basics and strategies of fencing, but I also have to rely on experts in these areas for things like what I put in my body and sleep, things that I’ve done quite intuitively up until now and haven’t relied on anyone’s help. I want to continue to grow as a person and as a player, so that I can feel more and more worthy of becoming world champion.
