JO1 released on May 29th, “66th Shining! “Love Seeker”, which won the Japan Record Award’s Outstanding Work Award, has been certified by Spotify as the most shared song on X (formerly Twitter) in the world in 2024.
The lead song “Love Seeker” from the 8th single “HITCHHIKER” was a huge hit, recording her highest sales to date. The MV has been played approximately 20 million times, and JO1’s monthly listener count on Spotify exceeds 1 million, making it a song that is listened to by many people and has become one of JO1’s most representative songs.
JO1 recently celebrated their 5th anniversary, and news continues to show that the group is growing. This time, reaching number one in the world on Spotify was a big step in supporting the group’s global success, including their first world tour scheduled for 2025. In 2024, “Love seeker”, which was loved by many people, will be aired on TBS “66th Shining!” on December 30th. Received the Excellent Work Award at the Japan Record Awards.
