■“Many of my fans are kind and close to me.” (SixTONES Yugo Kochi)
SixTONES’ Yugo Kochi (“Taka” is officially spelled “Hadashidaka”) will appear as a solo artist for the first time on the cover and opening feature of “CHEER Vol.53” (released on January 4, 2025).
Wearing a bright yellow knit, which is also the members’ color, Kochi talked about her new album “GOLD”, which was released on January 15th and received music from many artists, saying, “It’s always sparkling, but this time it’s even more so! “I think they brought out a new side of SixTONES that I saw from an outsider’s perspective.In that sense, I think it turned out to be a brilliant piece.”
He also said, “Fans are a mysterious existence,” adding, “My fans read my blog and send me messages on SNS, and they write letters to me on stage. Many of them are kind.” “It’s strange that they like me (lol), but at the same time, they’re my driving force,” he said of his feelings towards his fans.

With the theme of “Azatoi”, we incorporated fluffy items such as scarves and knit hats into the photo shoot. Before conveying the editorial department’s requests, they seemed to have understood our intentions, as there were a number of “naturally cute” poses, such as cute sleeves and poses with their hands over their mouths.
In between, Mr. Takachi was eating bread and snacks, saying, “I’m hungry!” It looked like a small animal and gave me a warm feeling.
