“Elf” was written and composed by Tenioha, and was featured in the drama “Who Saw the Peacock Dance?” A ballad written as the theme song for “.

The work compares humans who are burdened with eternal loneliness to long-lived elves who live through eternity, creating a nostalgic yet fantastical masterpiece. It is a “challenge song” that goes beyond the conventional framework of cheering songs, and uses Ado’s singing voice to shake and inspire the hearts of the listeners, and is a song that marks the beginning of a journey.

“Who saw the peacock dance? ‘ will start broadcasting on January 24th in the Friday drama slot (every Friday at 10pm) for the period ending January 2025. The lead role will be played by Suzu Hirose, who is starring in a Friday drama for the first time.

This work, based on the manga of the same name by Rito Asami, is a human crime suspense story about a daughter whose father, a former police officer, was murdered on Christmas Eve, and uses letters left behind as clues to uncover the truth. The letter left behind by her father has the words “falsely accused” on it… When approaching the truth of the incident, two incidents, the present and the past, intertwine in a complicated way.

Along with the drama, please look forward to Ado’s first new song of 2025, “Elf.”

■Ado comments
The theme song “Elf” was written by Teni, who is well-known for my songs “Gira Gira” and “Eien no Akuru Hi.”
An elf, a solitary being who lives an endlessly long lifespan.
This overlapped with the main character, Shinmugi-chan, who goes on an endless journey to fight, relying on a letter left behind by her father, and overcomes doubts about herself and those around her, as well as various conflicts and anguish.
In this song, I express the pain and suffering, but still the heart that believes that light can shine through, and through this song I hope to convey strong energy to everyone.
I would also be happy if people who are experiencing various struggles, conflicts, and emotions like Shinmugi would listen to this song.
Be sure to read “Who Saw the Peacock Dance?” Please enjoy a lot of “Elf” along with “Elf”.

I’m currently listening to it in between work.
I am filming while fighting every day.
After listening to the (theme song), I couldn’t say anything, and wondered if it should be written as “elf” or read as “shinmugi.” That’s what I thought.
My heart ached as I heard Ado’s screams.
I felt like crying.
There were many scenes where I felt alone, but it was a cry for someone to be on my side.
This is the guidepost for Shinmugi.
Even while filming, if I get lost, I’ll listen to this song.
And, my impression of Ado is completely different from my previous impressions, and I can only say, “Wow.” lol
Now, I feel like my heart has been saved.
Seriously, it’s the best theme song.
