Motoharu Sano re-records his classic song "Youngbloods"! The theme is "Redefining Motoharu Sano's Classics"

Motoharu Sano & The Coyote Band have announced that they will release the single “Youngbloods (New Recording 2024)” digitally on June 5th.

The song is a newly recorded version of Sano Motoharu’s 1985 80’s anthem “Young Bloods” in 2024. This is Sano Motoharu & The Coyote Band’s first single release in a year and a half since “Goodbye Melancholia” (January 2023).

In 2022, after 40 years in the business, Sano and his band, who produced the masterpiece “Where Are You Now,” began studio sessions after the end of their last tour. The theme was “Redefining Sano Motoharu Classics.” They embarked on a groundbreaking endeavor to re-record the songs, revising the arrangements, lyrics, performance, and singing, to make them more relevant to the present.

Apparently, several songs have already been recorded, and the digital release of “Youngbloods (New Recording 2024)” will be the first song released from this series of efforts.

The music video for this song is also attracting attention, as it is a collaboration with the popular and talented dance team, CyberAgent Legit. The full-length music video will be released in mid-June.

Tickets for the nationwide tour “See you at Zepp Tour in early summer 2024” which will begin on June 16th at Zepp Fukuoka, sold out in advance at an unprecedented rate for the eight performances nationwide. The previous “Where, Now” tour caused a huge excitement among fans of all ages, proving the reputation that “the latest Motoharu Sano is the strongest.” With the 45th anniversary of his debut in 2025 and the 20th anniversary of the formation of Coyote Band just around the corner, what will Motoharu Sano express next as he steps on the gas?
