THEE MICHELLE GUN ELEPHANT’s 30th anniversary project “THEE 30TH” has started. The “THEE 30TH” logo and special website have been released.
THEE MICHELLE GUN ELEPHANT debuted on February 1, 1996 with “The End of the World” and will celebrate 30 years since their debut in 2026. Along with the start of the project, release information was also announced.
The live video collection “THEE LIVE” (released in 2010) will be released on Blu-ray on February 1, 2025. Furthermore, the 1st album “Cult Grass Stars” (released in 1996) was released on March 1st, and the 2nd album “High Time” (released in 1996: analog version title “is this High Time?”) was released on April 1st. It has been remastered from the master tape, digital distribution including high-resolution sound source has started, and analog version will also be re-released.
The analog version will be released in a 180g weight version cut from the latest remastered sound source.
The analog version has special benefits for each CD shop, such as Tower Records’ square tin badge, HMV’s smartphone sticker, Disc Union’s keychain, and Amazon’s mega jacket on a first-come, first-served basis.
In addition, the first digital distribution of the best album “THEE GREATEST HITS” (released in 2009) will start on February 1, 2025. Release information will be announced in due course.
