Scene photos of Riku Kanbayashi, played by Kento Nakajima, have been released from the latest theatrical release of director Takahiro Miki’s “Shiraishira Kanojo” (released on February 28, 2025), starring Kento Nakajima and making his first appearance in a Milet movie.
Nakajima plays the role of a man who realized his dream of becoming a novelist and became a popular author, and just when he thought his marriage to the love of his life was going well, he realized that he was neither a novelist nor had met his beloved. A character who gets lost in “another world” and is at the mercy of God’s mischief. This is a work by director Miki, who Nakajima himself has always admired, and is taking on the challenge of a fantasy love story.
Director Miki envisioned his role as “an adult Nobita,” and “I wanted to see the human-like Kento Nakajima that everyone hasn’t seen yet.” He empathizes with the portrayal of a young man who, after a strange encounter, experiences a sudden change in his environment and grows up despite being confused and struggling.
