The TV anime “Honey Lemon Soda” (based on the original story) is currently being serialized in Shueisha’s girls’ manga magazine “Ribon”, with cumulative circulation exceeding 14 million copies (as of July 2024), and has been made into a live-action movie and reading drama. : Mayu Murata) will be broadcast every Wednesday at 24:55 on Fuji TV “+Ultra” and other channels from January 8, 2025.

We recently conducted an interview with &TEAM, who sings the double theme song for this work, about the Honey Remo anime. The members who sing the opening theme “Magic Hour” and the ending theme “Wonderful World” talk about how they felt when the double theme song was decided, their memories from high school, and advice for those who want to change like Hana. talking.

–How did you feel when you heard that you would be in charge of the OP and ED?
E.J.:I’ve always loved anime, so I also like anime songs, but when I heard that we & TEAM would be in charge of the OP and ED double theme songs, I was really happy!
–Please tell us the highlights and recommended points of each song.
MAKI：The opening theme “MagicHour” is a classic pop song that gives you a feeling of sadness and strength, and the melody, which sounds like it was cut out with a shutter, expresses “a fleeting moment of youth.” Please pay attention and listen!
HARUA：The ending theme “Wonderful World” expresses how the world that was once alone becomes colored by the miracle of meeting you. This song will make you smile, so please listen to it a lot!
–What did you think after watching the PV?
YUMA:The PV lets you feel the sweet and sour taste of Honey Lemon Soda, and the artwork is so good that I’m looking forward to it starting.
–Who are the characters you’re interested in or who you think you could be friends with?
JO:I think Seto-kun and I will become friends right away. I also like funny things and laughing, so I feel like we can get along best.
–Are there any episodes from when you were a high school student like KAI and Hana, or anything that reminds you of your youth?
K：I was involved in club activities every day! During my student days, I practiced twice from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. and lived in a dormitory, so I was very involved in club activities.
FUMA:Every day on the way home from dancing, I went to my favorite hamburger restaurant and ate a lot!
–If you were to speak to someone who wants to change like Hana, who would it be?
TAKI:I think it’s difficult to change right away, so I think it would be a good idea to gradually become interested in something different and try doing something a little different from usual!
――There is talk of changing seats in the drama, but which members do you want to be next to you or who don’t you want to be next to?
NICHOLAS:The person I want to be next to is K-kun. Because it looks so much more fun when you’re next to me! The person I don’t want to be next to is FUMA-kun. I’m so serious that I feel like I’m going to get angry…
