A long PR video for the drama “Honnou Switch”, which will start on January 11, 2025, on TV Asahi’s Osidora Saturday slot, has been released on TVer and TV Asahi’s official YouTube channel.
This work, which is based on the KUJIRA comic of the same name, is a love story between “childhood friends” Hijiri Akiyama, played by Kaito Miyajika (Travis Japan), and Kowa Hoshi, played by Wakana Aoi.
The video also features scenes from Hijiri and Kowa’s school days. It is a must-see to see the two in their very innocent uniforms, which will be shown for the first time. There is also a glimpse of the two parents and the close friendship between Hijiri and Kowa during their childhood.

■Episode 1 synopsis
Sei Akiyama (Kaito Miyajika) and Kowa Hoshi (Wakana Aoi) have been childhood friends since before they can remember. Ever since they ended their feelings of romance in junior high school, they have remained close childhood friends, and now they each work as planners at different game companies located in the same building.
One morning, when Kowa woke up, Hijiri was next to him for some reason. Furthermore, both of them are practically naked… In the midst of the chaos, she recalls that the night before, her boyfriend and colleague of two and a half years, Sosuke Yoshida (Junki Totsuka), had made a move on her, and then he dumped her, had a drunken night with Hijiri, and then they spent the night together. I remember what happened. Kowa immediately falls to the ground and apologizes, thinking that he has done something outrageous.
Even though it was a weekend, Kowa rushed out of the house to go to work. Even when his colleague Yoko Kihara (Maho Nonami) calls out to him, Kowa is still preoccupied with Hijiri, but as soon as Hijiri breaks up with his girlfriend at the time, Kaede Saito, in middle school, they don’t even make eye contact.
