An interview with Yuya Tegoshi will be broadcast on ABEMA from 12:00 on December 29th.
This was recorded as the in-depth project “NO MAKE” on ABEMA’s news program “ABEMA Entertainment”.
“NO MAKE” is a unique project that closely follows the real faces of actors, talents, artists, and models, and approaches the unknown past of those who take center stage and the “now” that reflects it.
In the program, we will be covering for the first time the final performance of Tegoshi’s live tour “Yuya Tegoshi LIVE TOUR 2024 OVER YOU” which toured 7 cities across the country. We listen carefully to their stories, from the passionate exchanges they had with the staff before the performance, to the thoughts they put into their music activities, to the emotions they felt after completing the concert.
In the interview, he openly expressed his feelings when he became independent from the agency he joined at the age of 15 and worked for until he was 32. When choosing a new path, he said, “32 years old may be young to the world, but when I think about my life plan, I can’t wait any longer…” I want to say to my past self again, ‘Be grateful for the opportunity you have given me,”’ he says, talking about his feelings towards his old club after going independent.
Furthermore, he confessed to Tegoshi that there was a “benefactor” who reached out to him after he restarted, saying, “I’ll definitely come to pick you up, so please wait.” With 2024 marking a major turning point, including the return to terrestrial broadcasting for the first time in four years, there is also a moment in which the show seriously talks about the outlook for 2025.
