The 8th installment of JO1 member self-project “PLANJ” is Aomi Kinjo! Acoustic cover of Crystal Kay's "If You Fall in Love"

“Koi ni Ochira” by Aoi Kinjo has been released as the 8th installment of the members’ self-project “PLANJ” (pronounced: Plant), which is being developed on the JO1 official YouTube channel.

“Koi ni Ochitara” is a cover of Crystal Kay’s famous song released in 2005. The MV was shot in a recording studio. As the lyrics say, it expresses the simple desire to deliver this song “from the heart.” Kinjo’s gentle singing voice gives a soothing finish. Also pay attention to the winking scene at the end.

“PLANJ” is valuable content where you can see what the JO1 members themselves want to express. With the goal of improving individual skills and giving back to the group, JO1 freely expresses and disseminates the individuality of the group and its members, not just music.

The first part is Sho Yonashiro’s cover of Elton John’s “Your Song,” the second part is Junki Kono’s cover of CNBLUE’s “Love Light,” and the third part is backed by Shio Tsurubusa. The 4th song is Ruki Shiraiwa’s self-produced song “Himawari”, the 5th song is an original song by Yoshio Ohira, “Melak”, and the 6th song is Shoya Kimata’s song “Melak”. The seventh installment of the original song “easy life” is Ren Kawajiri’s original song “DAYBREAK.”

I started listening to this song because of my mother’s influence, so I decided to cover it because I wanted to bring it to JAM with my voice. I can’t say I’m very good at it, but I think it gave me a different impression from the songs that JO1 usually puts out, so I’d appreciate it if you could listen to it a lot.
