Superfly declares the start of “Cover Year”! A national hall tour has been decided for the first time in about 10 years.

Superfly has announced that he will release his first cover album in the spring of 2025.

On April 4, 2024, Superfly celebrated 17 years since their debut, and on the day of their debut anniversary, they launched a cover project. Titled “Superfly and Tears Journey”, it is a song by a Japanese male artist that is engraved in the heart, expressing feelings that cannot be expressed in words, memories hidden in the heart, “When that song plays, for some reason, it makes me cry”. Along with this, we are looking for “episodes that made you cry.”

Not just tears of loneliness, sadness, and frustration, but also tears of joy, joy, and laughter… Superfly will cover and deliver the important songs along with the thoughts of each person gathered through the recruitment of episodes with the theme of “Your Tears”.

The cover album includes a total of 10 songs, including Kazumasa Oda’s “Tashikakoto”, back number “SISTER”, and ONE OK ROCK’s “Wherever you are”. Let’s wait for more information on what other songs will be included, what kind of story will be included, and what kind of album it will be.

In addition, it has been decided that a national hall tour “Superfly Hall Tour 2025” will be held from the summer of 2025. This is the first national hall tour for Superfly in 10 years. Starting at Sapporo Cultural Arts Theater Hitaru on August 31st, there will be 13 performances in 10 locations, starting with Tokyo Garden Theater on November 5th and 6th.
