KinKi Kids held a YouTube live broadcast late at night on December 31st. The two announced that the current name of “KinKi Kids” will be changed to “DOMOTO” in 2025.
In addition, KinKi Kids’ best album will be released around summer 2025. The timing of their activities after the name change is currently being adjusted, with the plan to be after the release of this work.
During the live broadcast, they said, “Even if we change our names, nothing will change for the two of us, and we will continue to sing the songs we created with great care.”
“I want to take on new challenges, but I want people to think of it as just a change in nameplate,” he said.
In addition, the official fan club site (hereinafter referred to as FC site) of “DOMOTO” will be pre-opened after the YouTube distribution.

This FC site is scheduled to have a grand opening in conjunction with DOMOTO’s future activities.
The pre-opened FC website posted the following comments from the two to their fans.
KinKi Kids is scheduled to perform “KinKi Kids Concert 2024-2025 DOMOTO” at Kyocera Dome Osaka on January 1st and at Tokyo Dome on January 12th and 13th.
