■ “I thought that if Wurts produced it, something really interesting would happen, so I asked him to produce the music video as well!” (Miyake Ken)
Miyake Ken released his new album “THE iDOL” on June 5th.
At midnight on the same day, the music video for the album’s lead song “Haunted” was released. The song was written and directed by WurtS.
The music video has an emotional atmosphere that is perfect for a rock song, and features scenes of Ken driving and singing and dancing on the roof of a building. It is a music video that shows a new side of Ken Miyake.

■ Comment from Ken Miyake
When I heard that WurtS wanted to produce an idol one day, I thought that something really interesting could happen if he produced an idol, so I asked him to produce the music video as well!
I think the finished product is one that makes me glad I entrusted everything to him.■Comment from WurtS
This time, Ken suggested I “make it with the feeling that you are producing Miyake Ken,” so I was in charge of providing the song and producing the music video.
As we talked, I once again felt that Takeru is someone who is filled with a spirit of inquiry into art and expression, and the works he creates have a delicate, urbane image. On the other hand, the song I provided, “Haunted,” is an exceptionally rock song among the songs that WurtS has produced.
If I were to produce Takeru myself, I wanted to show a side of Takeru that no one has ever seen before, different from the image he has had up until now, so I took a physical, energetic approach, recording the songs with a band to give them a live feel and deliberately making his voice noisy. The music video also embodies the strength of the song, with images that exude a live feeling and a parallel world that is somewhat different from the usual, like a dream world.
