Takanori Iwata and Manami Higa, who star in the drama “Forest” (ABC TV/TV Asahi starting January 12th), appeared on the annual New Year’s program “Celebrity Rating Check!” which aired on January 1st. 2025 New Year Special” appeared as “Team Forest”.
Iwata and Higa appeared enthusiastically saying, “We won’t embarrass you from New Year’s on!” They took on the challenge of checking six must-haves. The two, who played lovers in “Forest”, showed off their outstanding chemistry…but things turned into a big commotion at the studio.

■Drama “Forest” PR video released!
A two-minute PR video has been released for the drama “Forest” that heightens expectations for the first broadcast.

Their normal, happy cohabitation life takes a sudden turn when characters surrounding Kaede Ikushima (Aimi Higa) and Jun Ichinose (Takanori Iwata) appear suspicious. What’s more, the existence of past incidents is revealed, making it seem as if the characters are wandering into a forest of mistrust of humanity.
The number of TVer favorites already exceeded 100,000 before the first broadcast (as of December 31, 2024). Comments have also arrived from the two, who have become even closer after appearing on “Rating”.

Manami Higa will appear on the program “TRAIN TV Koko, I Wanted to Eat!”, which will be aired on JR East’s 10 major metropolitan area lines/Yurikamome train signage. It has been decided that she will be appearing on “Celebrity Incognito Gourmet”.
Commonly known as “#CocoTabe”, it is a new type of gourmet variety show where celebrities enjoy takeout menus from restaurants they want to eat. The show will air from January 6th to 12th.
