NHK’s 100th anniversary project “Everyone’s Best Kohaku Live Broadcast! New Year special! ‘ will be broadcast live from 7:20pm on January 3rd.
To commemorate the 100th anniversary of broadcasting in March 2025, this is the second in a special series that will feature the large-scale program “NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen,” which symbolizes the history of broadcasting, among other programs. Continuing from last time, announcers Hiroshi Oizumi, Mone Kamishiraishi, and Maho Kuwako will serve as MCs.
Hiroyuki Ariyoshi and Kanna Hashimoto also rushed to the studio to introduce episodes, famous scenes, and behind-the-scenes footage from the “75th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen” that “looks back at Kohaku faster than anywhere else.”
In addition, we will deliver archive footage of famous scenes from “Kohaku” so far, along with submissions from the currently running campaign project “Everyone’s Best Kohaku”.
Additionally, the program will also air a special interview between Teruyoshi Uchimura and Sayuri Ishikawa.
