Ryota Katayose (GENERATIONS) suggests casting! “Shin Work Drama Production Committee” broadcast tonight

■“As a performer, I would like to learn how to entertain the viewers in a short period of time.” (GENERATIONS, Ryota Katayose)

“Shin Job Drama Production Committee” will be broadcast from 10:30 pm on January 5th.

Luxurious guests such as MC Seiya (Shimofuri Myojo), Hikaru Ijuin, Yuki Hirako (Arco & Peace), Miki Fujimoto, Maki Fukuda (3 o’clock heroine), Ryota Katayose (GENERATIONS) and others will create an unprecedented work drama hit. We delve deeper into the reality of occupations that have not yet been dramatized. They hold a drama production meeting while listening to stories from actual workers, find the seeds for dramatization, and finally produce a new “work drama.”

This time, one of the two jobs, “retirement agent” and “demolition worker,” will be dramatized. What kind of new drama will be born?

The short dramas are actually created by Shibaken, a production team specializing in short dramas that brings together talented actors and creators who have been recognized at the Cannes Film Festival. Our committee, led by Seiya, will be working extremely hard to produce the drama and will seriously aim for a TV Asahi drama slot.

■“Found a hidden room” and “Under the roof…” Get excited about the shocking stories of demolition workers! Ideas for dramatization are popping up one after another!?
Currently, the number of vacant houses across the country is at an all-time high…In such a situation, “demolition workers” are very active. While listening to the actual stories of the president of the demolition company and the female staff working at the site, a meeting is held to create a drama.

When he saw the scene of people smashing down walls with hammers and crowbars, Fukuda said, “It’s an episode of GTO!” and was excited by the scene, which reminded him of a famous scene from the drama. The many valuable experiences of female demolition workers, who make up only 1% of the workforce, sparked ideas for dramas, such as, “Maybe you could write a story with a female protagonist?” “Maybe a team of women fighting in a male-dominated society like Shomuni?”

What’s more, the committee is in an uproar over the shocking discovery that was made at the demolition site. “When we were dismantling the roof, we saw an incredible sight below…” “We discovered a hidden room and there were stairs leading to the basement…” Katayose was surprised, saying “It was so real it was scary.”

Regarding the behind-the-scenes story of the demolition worker, which is hard to find out, Ijuin says, “Maybe he can aim for the Galaxy Prize?”…?

■ Behind the scenes of “retirement agency”, which has seen an increase in the number of clients in recent years, Fujimoto is astonished as “It’s like the world of a daytime drama…”!? Shin’s work short drama is a must-see
The next job we will focus on is “retirement agency”. In recent years, the number of users has started to increase rapidly, and it is said that one in six retired people are using it, but what is the actual situation? Introducing the real negotiation process that actually takes place in the field.

Fujimoto exclaimed, “It’s like the world of a daytime drama,” when asked about the shocking reasons for her resignation, such as “Go around three times and say “One-piece” and “A male boss gives a female employee a one-piece dress.” I wonder if such a black company still exists.

In addition, behind-the-scenes stories that are not usually talked about, such as how retired staff refresh themselves and industry terminology, are revealed. Ideas for dramatization continued to come up, such as, “Why don’t we create a set line?” The studio was excited about the casting idea proposed by Katayose, who usually plays the lead role!

So, what is the main character image and story drawn by the studio members?

After the recording, MC Seiya commented, “It was really amazing! It’s not often that you show the idea generation stage on TV. I look forward to seeing what happens!”

Katayose was also very interested in the cast, saying, “It was exciting to see so many different ideas.I want to appear in the drama as well!”

Hirako said, “When I can’t sleep, I sometimes go to bed while creating a short drama in my head, so it’s fun.I want to do it at a bar until morning (lol). If this becomes a long drama, I might cry a little.” You can also feel the joy of the production side.

So what kind of drama will be created? And which ideas were adopted… Let’s have fun while comparing them.

■Seiya (Marbled Myojo) Comment
It was fun! The studio members are of different ages and career backgrounds, but I think this is the best drama that everyone has seen so far! They got excited, but at the end they said, “Sorry! That’s the end!” They came up with too many ideas and couldn’t come up with anything (lol). It was really amazing! I don’t think it’s very common to show the idea generation stage on TV. I have so many good ideas that it bothers me.
What will happen… Look forward to it!

■Ijuin Hikaru comment
The day before the recording, I was on the radio until 3 a.m., watched YouTube until 4 a.m., and was almost heartbroken when the show started at 9 a.m., but I was surprised at how much fun I had and we talked about everything. For example, I think there are a lot of jobs that we don’t understand, such as the sound effects, even though we are always indebted to them. When we think of “medical items,” we think of professional dramas about doctors, but there are companies that provide medical equipment to doctors…and it seems like there are a lot of job genres that haven’t been touched yet.
We will also watch the completed drama on air! Let’s watch together!

■Ryota Katayose (GENERATIONS) comment
All the performers had a variety of ideas, each from a different generation, and it was very exciting. At the end, I had so many ideas that I got confused as I was talking about what the story was going to be, and it was really interesting!
I would like to appear in the drama as well! Nowadays, it has become mainstream to distribute dramas in short vertical videos, so as a performer, I would like to learn how to entertain viewers with short lengths.

■Yuki Hirako (Arco & Peace) Comment
I knew about both the “retirement agent” and “demolition worker,” but there were many interesting stories that I couldn’t understand until I heard the stories from the people inside.
I have appeared in a few dramas, but I think I like being a thinker (lol).I like watching dramas and movies, and when I can’t sleep, I create short dramas in my head. I sometimes sleep there, so it’s fun. I’d like to hang out at an izakaya until the morning (lol)
The dramas that are out in the world go through this production process, and if this were to become a long drama, I might cry a little. It’s like, “My opinion from that time is included!” I’m usually on the performer’s side, but I think that’s the joy of being a producer. I’m looking forward to a good drama!

■Maki Fukuda (3 o’clock heroine) comment
I have never seen either “Retirement Agent” or “Demolition Worker” and I want to watch them too much. I wonder if there was a drama that I haven’t seen yet…if we all think about it, we’ll come up with ideas like this… I have so many ideas that I find it difficult to summarize them. It’s nice to see a gap between a woman who is usually dressed up and looking cool on set, and then coming home neatly after the show! It was so much fun!
