Based on the concept of “We want to make people’s dreams come true through the power of television!”, “Dream Special” has brought laughter and excitement every year. In 2025, we will celebrate our 30th anniversary and make our super luxurious dreams come true.
Seeing such a number of projects going all out, host Akashiya couldn’t help but think, “TBS is doing too much!!”
■Takuya Kimura will make the ultimate dream of the oldest grandmother in the program’s history, a 101-year-old Chinese noodle shop owner, come true!
The grandchild’s dream application, “I want my 101-year-old grandmother to meet her favorite Takuya Kimura!” was successful. In order to make Grandma’s dream come true, Kimura makes a surprise visit to Grandma. What will the 101-year-old grandmother’s reaction be when she meets her beloved Kimura? Then, she carries out a grand surprise that straddles three prefectures: Gunma, Saitama, and Miyagi.
Furthermore, Kimura gave his grandma a big present: an invitation to his live performance. Surprisingly, a helicopter even appeared. Tears were in the eyes of the grandmother who was experiencing both a helicopter and a concert for the first time in her life.
■I want to sing with Mrs. GREEN APPLE and create the best memories!
An elementary school in Shibecha-cho, eastern Hokkaido, with four children in total, is scheduled to close in March 2025. We received an application from a mother who wanted her children, who will be attending different schools starting in the spring, to make the best memories with their beloved Mrs. GREEN APPLE! In order to make that dream come true, Mrs. GREEN APPLE heads to Shibecha-cho, Kawakami-gun, Hokkaido. How will the four children react if their favorite lady appears in front of them?
Mrs. GREEN APPLE, who interacted with the four children in the great outdoors, ended the day by enthusiastically singing the famous song “Que Sera Sera” with the children. There were tears in the eyes of the children and Mrs.
■Celebrities such as Suzu Hirose and Riho Yoshioka fully cooperate! “I want to be featured in online news.”
“I’ve been alive for 30 years, and I haven’t tweeted for a long time,” says a man whose dream is to “be featured in online news.” A man with many uncool stories that surprised even Akashiya Sanmaya and Kirin Akira Kawashima of the studio. In order to make his dream come true, famous celebrities such as Suzu Hirose, Riho Yoshioka, Nako Yabuki, Airu Kubozuka, Shiori Sato, and Gerardon all make a surprise contribution. Will it be possible to be featured in online news?
■The “bubble generation” cheer team wants to dance “Dancing Hero” with Yoko Oginome!
The dream of a cheer dance team with an average age of 55, “I want to dance with Yoko Oginome!” was won. In order to get a little closer to her idol Oginome, she says she usually dances to the theme song “Dancing Hero.” Then, at Oginome’s suggestion, this time they decided to dance the Bubbly dance of Tomioka High School’s dance club. It usually takes three months to practice, but it takes two weeks to perform. Will they be able to complete the dance?!
