■ “I’ve been thinking a lot about Teshima up until now, so I was excited to finally be able to play the role.” (Snow Man Abe Ryohei)
The new Saturday drama 9 “GO HOME – Metropolitan Police Department Unidentified Persons Counseling Room” (every Saturday from 9pm) which will start on July 13th on the Nippon Television network, stars the female buddy duo Fuka Koshiba (as Sakura Mita) and Yuko Oshima (as her partner Makoto Tsukimoto), as well as Abe Ryohei (Snow Man) who plays the elite detective Teshima Junnosuke of the First Investigative Division, and they started filming on the same day.
The promising female buddy duo of Koshiba and Oshima, who had shown great chemistry from the script reading before filming began, began filming with a scene in front of the police station in strong winds.
Abe, who plays a promising and talented detective who acts as a bridge between the Unidentified Persons Consultation Room and the First Investigative Division, began filming with a scene on a staircase with Oshima, who plays Makoto, an older investigator whom he secretly has feelings for.
Comments from the three of them about their enthusiasm have also arrived!
■Comment from Ryohei Abe (Snow Man)
We’ve finally started filming! I’ve been thinking a lot about Teshima up until now, so I was excited to finally get to play the role. Also, the very first scene was one that touched on the essence of Makoto (Oshima Yuko), so I acted with excitement. I think there will be a lot of scenes that are unique to a detective, so I’m looking forward to filming in the future!■ Comment from Fuka Koshiba
I’m glad we were able to start filming safely! However, it was a really strong storm (laughs). I’m glad that we were able to work together as a team, including the actors and staff, from the very first scene so that filming could proceed smoothly even amidst such a storm. My partner, Oshima-san, created a really easy-to-talk atmosphere and allowed me to talk about various things about our roles, so I’m really looking forward to filming together on set in the future.■ Comment from Yuko Oshima
A gust of wind was blowing from the first scene, but we all got excited and said it was a “tailwind” that would make the drama a big hit! It was a scene where Sakura (Koshiba Fuka) and I went to the police station together, and I was deeply moved to think that this was where it all finally began. Koshiba-san was very lively on set and very easy to talk to, so I ended up talking to her a lot!
