Making-of and interviews with Masaki Suda and other au Santaro members released! New commercial now airing nationwide

The latest commercial of the au Santaro series “Let’s all be happy!” ‘ version is being aired nationwide from January 1st. A behind-the-scenes behind-the-scenes video of the Santaro members, a crosstalk, and an interview video of the Santaro members who celebrated their 10th anniversary talking about their aspirations for 2025 have been released.

■Highlights from the making of the new au New Year CM “Let’s all be happy!”
This commercial is an annual New Year’s commercial, and it was the first time in a while that a large number of people were filmed together.

Immediately after the making of the movie begins, Kin-chan (Gaku Hamada) is full of motivation and sprints up the hill, shouting, “Alright! Let’s do it!” and the scene is immediately filled with laughter. The photo shoot with Ori-chan (Rina Kawaei), who made her first appearance in a while, also progressed at a good pace.

Next, Momo-chan (Shota Matsuda) and Ura-chan (Kenta Kiritani) entered the scene. Ura-chan’s passionate acting and expressive ad-libs had the co-stars and staff all excited.

Ori-chan can be seen in front of the “Roumura” signboard, which is the main point of this commercial. Responds quickly to detailed instructions from the director.

In the scene where Oni-chan (Masaki Suda) puts Oni-bome-chan (Minami Tanaka) into a mutual umbrella, the two find a beautiful rainbow. “Rainbow!” and “It’s such a rainbow!” They seemed to be having fun.

Afterwards, in the scene where everyone skips, the filming progresses in a friendly atmosphere. On the other hand, Kagu-chan (Kasumi Arimura), who was photographed getting dressed up, seemed surprised, saying, “Wow. It’s our 10th anniversary!” With all the members present, the scene was even more lively than usual and was filled with warm laughter from beginning to end.

■Interview
Q. Please tell us your impressions of shooting the commercial.
Tanaka:It was fun, let’s all skip.
Matsuda:It must have been a long time since I skipped.
Hamada:I don’t do it that much now that I’m an adult. It naturally made me feel happy.
Kiritani:Skip the heart too.
Suda:It’s been a while since I’ve been to a location like this. Apparently it’s a place I’ve been to several times. As I reminisced, I felt nostalgic.
Hamada:Ori-chan for the first time in a while.
Kawaei:yes. It’s been 2 years…! It’s been a long time.
Tanaka:Ori-chan, nice to meet you.
Kawaei:Nice to meet you!
Q. Kawaei-san’s happy outfit is impressive, but what do you think when you try it on?
Kawaei:No, it’s already a dream collaboration. I’m so happy that you made this happy hat to match Ori-chan’s costume.
Suda:wonderful!

Tanaka:It’s fresh, isn’t it? The one wearing blue.
Suda:Certainly. It has blue stripes.
Q.The theme of this commercial is “Let’s all be happy!” Please tell us about the little things that have made you happy lately, or what you are trying to do to make even the most ordinary days happy.
Tanaka:I’m a beauty person. Just putting on a little make-up can make you feel happy, and using a different skin care pack can make your skin feel cleaner and happier the next day.
Hamada:I’m going to the gym. I feel happy if I can lift something heavier than before. That challenge is fun.
Kiritani:How much? About 500km?
Hamada:Well. As a “Japanese Hulk,” I have to have that much power, and that’s what I want to aim for.
Kiritani:Yesterday, I took a leisurely walk in the park with a friend, and the feeling of the setting sun and sunset felt amazing. I was so happy. It was a nice day as we walked and talked about a lot of things.
Matsuda:I guess I’ll start working in the morning. I feel like that makes my day better.
Hamada:You’ll feel like you’ve earned it.
Matsuda:So I started training in the morning.
Hamada:7 o’clock is a great day off.
Kawaei:For example, when I think my skin is dry, I always look up “Minami Tanaka Body Cream”! So I’m very happy to meet you today!
Tanaka:Eh! I’m so happy! happy!
Kawaei:I’m happy.
Q. Santaro has finally reached its 10th anniversary, but what are your aspirations for 2025?
Kiritani: Amazing. 10th anniversary!

Kiritani:It’s already our 10th anniversary, and we’re all working together like this. Thank you very much. 10 years is amazing, isn’t it? Isn’t it a good idea to always renew your happiness? That’s what I think.
Matsuda:I’ll be hitting the 40 mark next year. It’s always been the same character, so I want to be beautiful from the bottom of my heart so that I don’t look a little older.
Kawaei:I will be 30 years old in 2025, so I want to do my best while taking care of my health.
Hamada:Being able to continue doing this for 10 years is a huge blessing, and it’s a job that will never happen again in my career, so I’m very grateful for that, but because we’ve been able to do it for 10 years, there are more things that only we can do. Or rather. If I have the opportunity, I would like to take on the challenge again.
Suda:Strictly speaking, Oni-chan hasn’t been around for 10 years yet. It’s been about nine and a half years. I want to do my best for the next six months. I just want to catch up. 10 years in the same role is hard, so I don’t know if we will meet again in the future, but I would like to meet them. For now, I think I want to continue playing Oni-chan.
Tanaka:It’s late now, but I want to solidify my foundation properly (lol). I think it’s better to build on a solid foundation as a person, or even in your work. I hope this year will be a year in which I take what I had been doing and put it into practice.

Kiritani:Why don’t you stop for a moment and look around you?
Hamada:I think there are little happy things lying around all over the place even on a normal day.
Suda:Why not celebrate with something small, even on an ordinary day?
Tanaka:I’m sure you’ll see an interesting future ahead!
