NewJeans won the Main Award in the Digital Sound Source Category and the Cosmopolitan Artist Award at the “39th Golden Disc Awards” held at Mizuho PayPay Dome Fukuoka on January 4th.
NewJeans said, “We are happy that our songs seem to have had a positive impact on many people.We hope that we will continue to heal each other through our songs and have many more moments of fun together.”

NewJeans, who have always attracted attention with their performance at award ceremonies, presented a new arrangement and stage for the “Golden Disc Awards” this time as well. With each member’s unique appearance, a dynamic intro performance signaled the beginning of the spectacular stage, and “Supernatural (Attention Mix)”, which featured the sound of their debut song “Attention”, doubled down on New Jeans’ unique coolness. Together with 34 dancers, they heated up the venue with their explosive energy on the “How Sweet” stage.
In 2024, NewJeans releases “How Sweet” and “Supernatural”, which includes their Japanese debut song. They were very successful, holding a Tokyo Dome performance in the shortest time since their debut (1 year and 11 months) as an overseas artist.
On December 30th, “66th Shining! He was the only foreign artist to win the Excellence Award at the Japan Record Awards, where he performed the song “Supernatural.” On New Year’s Eve, they became the first K-POP girl group to perform at “COUNTDOWN JAPAN 24/25”, the year-end’s largest indoor festival.
