Southern All Stars’ first original album in 10 years, “THANK YOU SO MUCH”, will be released on March 19th.

Southern All Stars made a spectacular debut in 1978, and have continued to be active at the forefront of the Japanese music scene for 47 years, spanning the Showa, Heisei, and Reiwa eras. They have released a variety of famous songs into the world, and have released 15 original albums so far. It has been a part of many people’s lives, won many prestigious awards, and continues to update its records.

Southern, who are now an indispensable rock band in Japan and are stepping into unprecedented territory, are finally releasing their latest original album for the first time in 10 years. The title is “THANK YOU SO MUCH.” The title was announced in November 2024, and information on the national tour was announced prior to the album details, and it took social media and wide shows by storm. It attracted attention from the media, including television and radio.

In addition, on New Year’s Day, Southern’s new song “Sakura, Hirari”, which conveys a heartwarming message to disaster-stricken areas across the country, will be released on digital distribution, and Southern’s progress towards their latest album is steadily progressing.

While further updates have been highly anticipated, the details of Southern All Stars’ 16th original album “THANK YOU SO MUCH” have finally been released along with the latest artist photos.

The release date is set for March 19th. It will be released in four formats: a limited edition (A: Blu-ray Disc/B: DVD) that comes with a SPECIAL DISC and a SPECIAL BOOK, a regular edition, and a 2-disc analog edition.

This work, in which words and melodies are intricately and carefully woven into each song, includes “Bon Giri Love Song”, “Utae Nippon no Sora”, and “Relay~Mori no Uta”, which were released to celebrate the 45th anniversary of their debut in 2023. , “Koi no Boogie Woogie Night” and “Greetings to Joan of Arc” were released as digital singles in 2024, and the beginning of 2025 In addition to “Sakura, Hirari,” which graced the show, there is also the rocking glam rock number “Dream Space Trip,” and “Sadness is Beyond the Boogie,” which was written in Southern’s earliest days before their debut, and the entertainment that their predecessors have built.
