■“Hug” by RIIZE will be released on various music sites at 6pm on January 8th
It has been announced that RIIZE will remake TVXQ’s “Hug”.
SM Entertainment will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2025, and is developing a variety of on-offline projects such as concerts, live orchestra performances, and brand films. A commemorative album focusing on “SM music” is also scheduled to be released.
This album includes remade versions of SM’s representative hit songs that have been reinterpreted by senior and junior artists to match the colors of each team. This is a noteworthy work that allows you to meet SM’s diverse music in a new style, which has shared all the moments of joy and sadness, memories and dreams with many people.
In addition, ahead of the album release, SM will release K-Pop legend TVXQ’s “Hug” reinterpreted in RIIZE’s colors on various music sites at 6pm on January 8th.
This is Park Munchi’s arrangement of TVXQ’s debut song and hit song “Hug” released in 2004. Y2K sensibilities and trendy sounds are added to the original song, with a new mood and an intro. RIIZE’s soft acapella and refreshing vocals will captivate your ears.
Other recorded songs will be unveiled for the first time at ‘SMTOWN LIVE 2025’, which will be held at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on January 11th and 12th and will be broadcast live on the global platforms Beyond LIVE and Weverse.
