Strawberry Prince releases music video for their new song "Ohimesama Ni Natte Iiyo"! A love song about fateful love

Strawberry Prince released the music video for their new song “Ohimesama Ni Ni Ii yo” on June 4th, the 8th anniversary of the group’s formation.

Strawberry Prince is on a roll, having released their first single “The Story of the Beginning” on June 5th, and their first animated film “Strawberry Prince The Movie: The Story of the Beginning ~Strawberry School Festival!!!~” hitting over 300 cinemas nationwide on July 19th.

The new song “Ohimesama Ni Ni Iiyo” was written, composed and arranged by HoneyWorks, who has worked on many of Strawberry Prince’s popular songs, and is a song celebrating the 8th anniversary of the group’s formation. It is a love song about a fateful love that begins with a chance encounter, and the lyrics that pledge eternal love along with the touching melody are touching. It is a message song from Strawberry Prince, packed with the fun of dancing at a dance party to celebrate an anniversary and the joy of sharing happiness with listeners.

The music video, released on June 4th, is a stop-motion paper theater-style work. Set at a school festival, the play “Romeo and Juliet” depicts the story of a prince and princess, and overlaps with the message of the song, bringing up a variety of emotions, making it a warm work worthy of celebrating the 8th anniversary.

The single “Hajimari no Monogatari” is a release to commemorate the release of the movie, and includes the theme song and insert songs from the aforementioned movie “Strawberry School Festival!!! The Movie: The Beginning of the Story”. It also includes two theme songs written specifically for the movie by HoneyWorks, who also wrote the new song “Ohimesama Ni Ni Ii yo”, “Ochikai no Hanataba wo ~With You~” and “Niji no Hajimari”.

It has been announced that June 4th has been officially registered as “Strawberry Prince Day” by the Japan Anniversary Association. From now on, June 4th will be a special symbolic day for the Strawberry Prince members and their listeners to deepen their bond together.
