SUPER EIGHT’s Ryuhei Maruyama is on the cover of “TV Guide PERSON” vol.149 (released on January 10th).
Ryuhei Maruyama will be starring in the historical drama “Roningai,” which will be performed at three locations: Misonoza, Aichi, and Minamiza, Kyoto, starting February 20th at Shinbashi Enbujo in Tokyo. In a long interview, he talks about his impressions of the ronin Gennai Aramaki, who he plays, saying, “I feel a twisted sense of resignation,” and his thoughts on the way of life of ronin, and also talks about his own “freelance” position like ronin. In addition to answering questions related to the work, such as “Tara…”, he also talked about the highlights and enthusiasm for the work.
Regarding SUPER EIGHT’s current dome tour, he proudly says, “I can clearly feel that we are delivering something good from the overall atmosphere of the venue,” and “The way we approach things has changed in a more intense direction.
