■“There are many things that can happen in life, but I felt like someone was pushing me and telling me to do my best, and affirming who I am.” (Haruna Kawaguchi)
Aiko’s new song “Cinema” has been chosen as the theme song for Nippon Television’s 10th TV drama “Ensemble,” which starts on January 18th.
“Ensemble” is about a “realistic” female lawyer played by Haruna Kawaguchi and an “idealistic” new lawyer played by Hokuto Matsumura (SixTONES), who take on various love trouble trials and learn the “lessons of love” from them. , a bright and slightly sad legal love story that they apply to their own love lives.
“Cinema”, which has been chosen as the theme song, has an impressive triple-time waltz rhythm, and is a heart-pounding sound that combines a classical melody played by a magnificent string section with a pop melody. The arrangements were made by Kawashima Shoji.
In the lyrics, even though you’re supposed to be with your loved ones, you end up feeling “alone” somewhere. The sadness and ephemerality of love that blends into the everyday scenery, as well as the loneliness and conflict in the heart, are delicately expressed, and the ephemeral singing voice that rides on top of the bright sound makes the message of this work even more impressive.
“Cinema” will be released on January 17th. A PR video for the drama in which this song plays has also been released, so be sure to check it out.

I was on tour when I was approached to sing the theme song for “Ensemble.”
The drama’s production staff just came to watch the live performance, and after the live performance they said with a smile, “Please feel free to create whatever you want.”
I wrote the song “Cinema” with my feelings that life is like a movie for me, and that I want to live my life to the fullest with persistence and persistence.
I hope that everyone who listens to this song through the drama will have a colorful life.■Haruna Kawaguchi comment
My favorite Aiko will be in charge of the theme song.
Cute, warm, kind, and sad. It encapsulates this drama. There are many things that can happen in life, but I felt like he was pushing me, telling me to do my best, and affirming who I am.
I hope you enjoy it!
