■Episode 2 synopsis

Ever since visiting the Ikushima family, Ikushima Kaede (Higa Manami) has realized that her lover Jun Ichinose (Takanori Iwata) has been lying about something, and her heart is not here even when she is at work. Although I was overcome with anxiety, I kept telling myself that it was probably not a big lie. At that time, Jun came to a certain care house to meet a woman (Asuka Kurosawa) who calls herself “Ryousuke.”

Meanwhile, at the Ikushima household, Kaede’s mother Suzuko (Miyuki Matsuda) is having a secret conversation with Osamu Hayama (Keisuke Horibe) about a threatening letter sent to her. The only fingerprints detected on the threatening letter belong to Suzuko. There were no suspicious people on the security camera, but it was Kaede and Jun who were staying at the Ikushima house that night.

The next day, when Kaede comes to work, she is informed by her colleague Shuntaro Makino (Daisuke Nakagawa) that Suzuko has purchased the flower gift company where Kaede works. In order to have Kaede inherit Bran Forest, Kaede takes out her anger on Suzuko, who repeats her selfish ways, but when Kaede brings up the fact that she ran away from a certain incident three years ago, she is put down.

What is the “incident from three years ago” that Kaede is dealing with? And what is Jun’s other name, “Ryousuke”? The hidden “secret” between the two is revealed…!
