■Gravure shoots with three themes based on the concept of “a journey for two people”!

It has been decided that the duo of Koji Mukai (Snow Man) and Ryuta Muro, commonly known as “Rutakoji”, will appear on the cover of the January 22 issue of “Anan”.

These two are allies who once stood at the forefront as Kansai juniors and led their juniors. They will be co-starring for the first time in a long time in the stage play “Muromukai” starting January 27th, and the cover has been created with a mature charm that stands out.

The special feature of the January 22nd issue of “anan” is “Go on a self-care winter trip,” where you can heal yourself by enjoying hot springs, delicacies, and other winter-only pleasures. In line with the special feature, the gravure was shot with three themes based on the concept of “a journey for two people.”

For the theme of “The Journey Begins,” participants tried to improvise hitchhiking using a motorcycle. Muro says, “Let me ride,” but Mukai says, “No!” There was also a scene where the room immediately reverberated with comments like, “Why are you doing this? Just ride it easily!”

With the theme of “time for two,” we held a mini camp. You can enjoy the cute expressions that make full use of the many props, as well as the cut where the two of them sleep on top of each other.

With the theme of “Each Journey”, we shot the ultimate solo cut in a chic black coordination, and two mature and emotional shots that are full of lustrous and fearless charm. Each of the three gravure themes has a different charm and is a must-see.

■The atmosphere unique to both of us will never change! A lively shooting scene where jokes and tsukkomi are flying around
When the two of us are together, we naturally exchange jokes and tsukkomi, and it’s very lively during the shoot. When filming on the set of the mini-camp, the staff’s request to “create a sense of the atmosphere between the two” was met by making full use of the set available. When Mukai tries to feed him bread, he pretends to be reluctant and says, “Just don’t like it!”, but Muro immediately says, “Eat it right away!” and the two of them hug a stuffed cat. The situations unfold one after another. The peaceful and cute atmosphere of these two is fully reflected in the magazine, so be sure to check it out.

In the interview, he not only talked about the stage play “Muromukai” but also talked about old stories that can be said today. Out of the many memories the two of them have had together, what is the episode that left a particularly strong impression on them?
