Nippon Broadcasting System’s “Nogizaka 46 All Night Nippon” is broadcast live every Wednesday from 1:00 a.m.
The show will be hosted by Miyagi native Kubo Fumika, and the broadcast will be broadcast live from Tohoku Broadcasting starting at 1:00 am on June 12th.
The guests for this event have been decided to be Maynard and TAX from MONKEY MAJIK, artists based in Sendai.
MONKEY MAJIK is a four-piece band with Canadian brothers Maynard and Blaise on vocals and Japanese drummer TAX and bassist DICK in the rhythm section. Currently, all members live in Miyagi Prefecture and are artists representing the local area. As an artist with ties to Miyagi Prefecture, MONKEY MAJIK’s “Rainbow Fish” has been used as the ending theme for “Nogizaka46’s All Night Nippon” since Kubo Shiori became the main personality.
The show will also feature the regular segment “Izu~i!”, which uses the Miyagi dialect, with the duo MONKEY MAJIK. The show will also air the collaborative song “OG Summer” by MONKEY MAJIK and Def Tech, which will be released digitally on the day of the show.

I was looking forward to the live broadcast from my hometown, Miyagi Prefecture, when it was decided that MONKEY MAJIK would be the guest, and my excitement swelled many times over. When I was asked what song to use for the ending theme of the program, I had no hesitation in choosing a song by MONKEY MAJIK, as they are such a big presence for me, being from Miyagi Prefecture.
I hope to convey my great love for Miyagi Prefecture together with Maynard and TAX.
