The song title is “SPOTLIGHT feat. PKCZ(R)”. When creating the song, Yamashita reflected on his own story of coming to Tokyo, and put his own suffering, determination, and thoughts into the lyrics, such as “I am this person who has no role, I am a university student, I am longing for the East…”. A song was completed that expressed Yamashita’s past determination to “be sure to be in the spotlight,” as well as his determination for the future.
PKCZ(R), who will also be appearing in “Yama Fes 2025”, was involved in the production. One of Yamashita’s juniors who shared his joys and sorrows from the time he moved to Tokyo until his days in the Kazagumi of Gekidan EXILE was ALAN SHIRAHAMA. Yamashita and Shirahama, who are both senior and junior, came up with the lyrics while reminiscing about their past. DJ DARUMA and P-CHO (DOBERMAN INFINITY) changed the keyword to “lyric,” and the combined efforts of JAY’ED, music producer Chaki Zulu, and supervisor MAKIDAI created the song.
