ABC TV/TV Asahi’s “I’ll Watch It for You!” is broadcast on ABC TV and TV Asahi in a realistic overseas location where WEST. members stick their heads in front of crowds of people from all over the world. The popular series project “World Crowd Quiz” of “Rear Toshi WEST.”.
The broadcast on January 19th will feature studio guests Kazuki Otake (Summers), as well as Kaito Matsukura (Travis Japan), and will deliver Junta Nakama in Hoi An, Vietnam.
Following on from Da Nang, one of Vietnam’s leading resort destinations that we visited on the January 12th broadcast and also known as the “Hawaii of the East,” we visited this nostalgic city where the entire city has been designated as a World Heritage Site. Hoi An.
This town is famous for its lantern floats. Nakama was taught the ritual of floating lanterns with wishes, and he gets on the boat and floats the lantern while saying, “I hope you can enjoy every day with the people you care about…”
Matsukura, a guest, watches with his hands folded in prayer, but the lantern goes out in just one second. Perhaps he was worried that his wishes were too broad(?), so he shifted to more specific wishes and tried again. WEST. What is the middle “wish” that made the members smile bitterly?
And it was this time’s guest, Kaito Matsukura, who kept WEST. laughing and exhausted from beginning to end with his diagonal answers to a quiz about Hoi An’s three famous dishes. At the end, Nakama was asked to give his thoughts on his souvenir, a custom-made Boston bag, and his unintentional remark struck a chord with WEST. once again, and Nakama’s shoulders dropped in disappointment.
The members were envious of Hoi An, saying, “This is a great location!” WEST. Enjoy the exquisite interaction.
