Motohiro Hata will pre-release his new song “Zutto Zukko no Love Song”, which will be the theme song for the movie “35th Year Love Letter” (to be released on March 7th), on February 26th, and a limited edition will be released on March 5th. It has been decided that it will also be released as a CD single.
The movie “35 Years of Love Letter” is a heartwarming story about a husband who couldn’t write, but after he retired, he learned how to write from scratch and struggled to write a love letter to his wife, and the wife who supported her husband for many years. A work based on a moving true story.
Tsuruhe Shofukutei plays the role of the main character Yasu Nishihata, Tomoyo Harada plays the role of Yasuko’s wife, and Daiki Shigeoka (WEST.) and Mone Kamishiraishi play the younger Nishihata couple.
Motohiro Hata read the script and wrote the theme song, “A Love Song in the Making”, which is a heartwarming song that echoes the story of the main character, Tamotsu Nishihata, rewriting his love letter to his wife over and over again.
The CD, which will be released as a limited edition, has a jacket card that uses the movie visuals, and also includes a handwritten lyrics card by Hata himself. The deluxe edition also comes with a Blu-ray containing live footage of three songs from a concert held in 2024 and a handwritten lyric video of the title song performed by the singer himself.
