Sakurazaka46 has released the jacket artwork for their 11th single “UDAGAWA GENERATION”, which will be released on February 19th.
The creative direction and art direction for this work are Naoya Kudo, Maya Shibatani, and Sho Tsujioka. The concept of the artist’s visual artwork is “Let the sound bloom.”
The visual depicts Sakurazaka46, who have evolved with their unique fighting style, becoming warriors who take on the world, equipped with weapons that embody their music. The costumes were provided by BALMUNG, which has reflected the city of Tokyo in its own unique style as the times change. The edgy design has been highly praised, and it has been worn by overseas artists, and has also been sold in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and London, and is also highly praised overseas. The costumes were provided because the group is also a hot topic for their overseas activities.
Along with the mysterious teaser video, it has also been decided that the title song “UDAGAWA GENERATION” will be streamed and downloaded in advance. Distribution will start from 0:00 on January 28th.
