SixTONES Jesse appears on the cover of “CHEER”! Jesse’s world explodes during the interview

SixTONES’ Jesse will appear solo for the first time on the cover and opening feature of “CHEER Vol.54” (released on February 3rd).

Jesse will be co-starring with Riko Fukumoto in the movie “Ojo to Watchdog-kun” which will be released on March 14th. During the movie, we spoke to Jesse about what he wants to protect and cherish as an idol, and about his activities in 2025.

Regarding Keiya Uto, the young leader of the Senagaki-gumi who plays the role in the movie, he said, “When I read the original manga, I thought, “Keiya is really cool!” ” I grinned. “I too can play such a cool role! “I hope I can show that in this movie (lol)” says Jesse.

Keiya protects the main character like a “guard dog” in the movie, and when asked about what he wants to protect and what he values, he says, “I want to make people laugh and move them. I want to be someone who can move people’s hearts.” Especially for my fans, I hope I can be a source of energy for them and make them think, “Let’s do our best tomorrow.”

Even during the interview, Jesse’s world explodes. “Even though I play such a cool Keiya in the movie, is it okay for me to look stupid in interviews?! Well, but that’s me, so I guess I can’t help it (lol),” he said in an adorable way.
