A teaser video for the drama “Aoshima-kun is mean,” starring Shota Watanabe and Anne Nakamura, has been released! The theme song “You are mine” sung by Snow Man has also been revealed for the first time.

■ “(The theme song “You are mine”): “I can already imagine the song being played in the drama!” (Watanabe Shota)

A 15-second teaser video for “Aoshima-kun is Mean,” which will be broadcast on TV Asahi’s Oshidora Saturday slot starting July 6th, will be shown for the first time on “Tokyo Tower” (every Saturday from 11pm) on June 8th.

This work, starring Shota Watanabe (Snow Man) and Anne Nakamura, is a romantic comedy based on the popular comic of the same name by Yu Yoshii. As soon as the information was released the other day, it attracted a lot of attention, such as becoming the number one trending topic on X (formerly Twitter), and the first broadcast is eagerly awaited.

The teaser gives viewers the feeling that they are actually experiencing the changes in 35-year-old dried-fish type woman, Katsuragi Yukino (Nakamura Anne), whose heart, which had previously been detached from romance, begins to burn once again as she is toyed with by Aoshima Mizuki (Watanabe Shota), a younger, apathetic man who has no interest in romance.

Mizuki removes Yukino’s glasses. Aoshima approaches Yukino, who is confused because the image is out of focus. Then Yukino’s haori falls off… “I thought something like this would never happen again…” Yukino’s words give the feeling that an adult romance is about to begin. The expressions of the two as they gaze at each other from close range are sure to heighten expectations for this film.

■The theme song “You Are Boku no Mono” sung by Snow Man is a sweet, classic love song that expresses the world of the drama!
Along with the teaser video, the theme song “You Are Boku no Mono” sung by Snow Man was also released for the first time.

This song is a sweet, classic love song that evokes the world of the drama, with a sound that evokes sparkling summer scenes, the excitement and thrill of the beginning of love, and the overflowing feelings of love.

Watanabe exuded confidence, saying, “It has a summery feel and a sparkling feel, so it’s perfect for the drama!” He then shared a special episode that happened while the theme song was being produced, saying, “Matsumoto Jun was there when we were listening to the demo, and when I asked him if he could listen to our next single, he gave me some advice, saying, ‘Maybe it would be better to arrange this part like this.’ Thanks to that, it felt even more like a love song.”

Watanabe says, “I can already imagine the song playing in the drama!” Be sure to check out the bright and refreshing theme song in the teaser video.

■The first part of Watanabe & Nakamura’s “Special Talk” is now available on TVer and TV Asahi’s official YouTube channel!
After the teaser is released, the program page will be opened on TVer. The first part of Watanabe & Nakamura’s “Aoshima-kun is Mean SP Talk” will be released on TVer and the TV Asahi official YouTube channel.

In response to the question “If you were to date someone older or younger?”, Watanabe revealed her ideal type, “I want someone to scold me more (laughs)”. Nakamura also smiled and said, “You’ve made all the girls’ hearts skip a beat (laughs)”.

They also revealed their “I am a XX type of guy/XX type of girl” and “Instructions” that they wanted to share with each other before filming. Don’t miss this interview that shows the real faces of Watanabe and Nakamura.

In the future, the program’s official SNS will also release “Listening to the theme song “You are mine” sung by Snow Man!!”. Watanabe will debut the theme song, which he confidently calls “his favorite song,” to Nakamura for the first time.

■ Comment from Shota Watanabe (role of Mizuki Aoshima)
Q: Why did you choose this song (“You Are Mine”)?
I listened to a lot of different songs, but this one stood out the most, so without a second thought I thought, “This is it!”
I suggested it to the members, and they all said “This is great!”, so it was decided immediately. I wanted to include the word “mean” in the lyrics, so I asked them to add it later. I’m singing the lyrics “mean,” so please pay attention to that as well (laughs). It has a summery feel, a sparkling feel, and it fits the drama really well… I can already imagine the song being played in the drama!

Q: Do you have any stories from when you were creating the theme song?
By chance, Matsumoto Jun-kun was there when I was listening to the demo. Arashi is the king of J-POP, so I asked Jun-kun, “Can you please listen to our next single?” and he actually did. He gave me advice like, “Maybe it would be better to arrange this part like this,” or “Maybe it would be better to change this part to a melody like this.” Thanks to that, I think it felt more like a love song.

Q: Please give a message to everyone who is looking forward to the theme song.
I think we are known for our dance tunes, but we have always wanted to try J-POP (classic love songs), so appearing in “Aoshima-kun is mean” gave us the opportunity to try it. We couldn’t have done this song without this drama, so we are really grateful to have come across this drama! We want to perform these “classic love songs” in a way that makes people think, “That suits Snow Man!”
