“Promise: The Truth After 16 Years” is a platinum night Thursday drama on Yomiuri TV/Nippon TV starring Anne Nakamura and featuring Yokoyama Yu (SUPER EIGHT).

The real culprit was finally revealed in the 9th episode “Reversal” that aired on June 6th, causing a huge reaction on social media. During the broadcast, “#TheTruthOfThe16YearsPromise” was ranked 2nd in the Japanese trends.

The drama “The Promise”, which has been toying with viewers every week and keeping them up late on Thursday nights, will air its final episode on June 13th. We are already hearing complaints of “the loss of The Promise”.

The filming period was about three months, and when it began I thought it would never end, so it was difficult, but I was able to get through it thanks to the friendly atmosphere created by the staff.
