Sakurazaka46 releases cover artwork for their 9th single “Jigoku Jitoku”! The concept is “Each person’s blossoming”

■Measure the brainwaves of Sakurazaka46 members and create flowers for each one based on that!

Sakurazaka46 has announced the jacket artwork for their 9th single “Jigoku Jitoku,” which will be released on June 26th.

The creative direction and art direction of this work are handled by Naoya Kudo, Mai Shibatani, Sho Tsujioka, and Ryodai Bansho. This is their third collaboration, following their 6th single “Start over!” and their 8th single “How old do you want to go back to?”

The concept of the artist visuals/artwork is “Each One’s Blooming.” This is a phrase that was also used in the teaser video that was aired the other day in the commercial for the regular program “Soko Magattara, Sakurazaka?” (TV Tokyo).

During the shoot, the brainwaves of each member were measured and a flower was created for each member based on that. The flower for each member was projected onto the water surface so that each member looked like a large flower blooming on the water surface.

The question asked during the brainwave measurement was, “What kind of artist do you want to be?” The flowers of the members, beautifully standing on the water surface, are of various colors and not one is the same. It is an artwork that you can look at and feel each individual’s thoughts.
