Travis Japan released their new song “Sweetest Tune” digitally on June 10th.
“Sweetest Tune” is the insert song for the TV Asahi program Oshidora Saturday’s “Tokyo Tower” (every Saturday from 11pm), in which member Matsuda Genta appears.
The music video was directed by Korea’s YVNG WING, who has also directed music videos for XG’s “WINTER WITHOUT YOU” and “NEW DANCE.”
The video was shot in a house studio with Travis Japan-related goods scattered throughout the set. The footage shows the seven members enjoying their time together, reminiscent of the shared house they lived in while studying abroad in Los Angeles.
In addition, a performance video is now available, capturing the first time the dance for this song was performed at the Niigata performance of the arena tour “Travis Japan Concert Tour 2024 Road to Authenticity,” which attracted approximately 310,000 people.
To commemorate the release, a distribution campaign is being held where you can receive an original digital booklet and wallpaper images.
