TREASURE's new song "REVERSE" will be the theme song for the drama "Densetsu no Head Sho" starring Fumiya Takahashi

TREASURE’s new original Japanese song “REVERSE” has been chosen as the theme song for the TV Asahi Friday night drama “Densetsu no Head Sho” (starting July 19th at 11:15pm), starring Takahashi Fumiya.

“REVERSE” is an energetic and emotional upper tune with an uplifting rap part.

The title contains two meanings: “reversal” and “two-sided existence”, as well as the homonym “REBIRTH”. The song is a perfect fit for the world of “Densetsu no Head Shou”, in which the protagonist, played by Takahashi Fumiya, discovers a new self and grows as a person, filled with the strong will to “be reborn as a new self, his true self, and seize the future”.

In July, they will start their second nationwide fan meeting, “2024 TREASURE FAN MEETING ~WONDERLAND~”. They will be touring the country on an unprecedented scale for a Korean boy band, with 13 dates in 6 cities, including Kanagawa, Hiroshima, Hyogo, Aichi, Fukuoka, and the recently announced additional Tokyo performance.

“STUPID -JP Ver.-“, included in the 3rd Japanese mini album “REBOOT -JP SPECIAL SELECTION-” released in February, ranked 4th in the Billboard JAPAN TikTok Weekly Top 20 published on May 29th. Many challenge videos have been posted with the title “#StopTearsDance” quoting the lyrics, and in just one month, the total number of views on TikTok has exceeded 200 million, and it has been liked into the TOP 50 of the TikTok music chart. It is currently creating a buzz on TikTok, with popular artists such as Da-iCE, JO1, and INI, as well as popular influencers with over 2 million followers, posting videos one after another.
