XG has announced details for the North American, UK and European regions of their first world tour, “The first HOWL.”

XG’s first world tour began in Japan with performances at Osaka-jo Hall on May 18th and 19th, and K-Arena (Yokohama) on May 25th and 26th, attracting a total of 55,000 people over the four days. Fans were allowed to take photos and videos during the performance, which is unusual in Japan, and the performance was spread around the world on social media, leading to eager anticipation of details about the performances in countries and regions other than Japan.

The North American tour will begin in Las Vegas on October 4th (local time), and will take place in eight cities, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Grand Prairie, Sugar Land, Duluth, New York, and Chicago, while the UK and European tour will begin in Manchester on November 18th (local time), and will take place in seven cities, including London, Berlin, Paris, Dusseldorf, Brussels, and Amsterdam. As this is XG’s first tour in both North America and Europe, social media is overflowing with excitement.

Other regions that have already announced events are to be held in Seoul on July 11, Taipei on July 13, Singapore on July 16, Manila on August 2, Bangkok on August 4, and Kuala Lumpur on August 7, with future events scheduled in Greater China, Oceania, South America, and Europe.

In addition, the music video for their fifth single, “WOKE UP,” released on May 21, ranked first on the US YouTube Trending Chart (as of 1am on May 22), and was ranked within the top 10 in 16 countries and regions, including Japan. They also achieved the unprecedented feat of ranking in Spotify’s Viral 50, ranking 15th globally, as well as in the Viral 50 in 34 countries and regions, including the US, the UK, Japan, and South Korea.

In Japan, “WOKE UP” also took the top spot for the first time on “Global Japan Songs Excl. Japan,” a ranking of Japanese songs that are hits around the world (calculation period: May 24th to May 30th, 2024).

XG will release the video product “XG ‘NEW DNA’ SHOWCASE in JAPAN” on July 3rd, which contains a recording of their first solo live performance with an audience, held at Pia Arena MM in 2023. This is also worth checking out.
