K (&TEAM) to appear in new drama "Get Me" ~Reminiscence~ as "Death"

The new drama “Take Me” ~Reminiscence Edition~ will begin airing on Nippon Television’s “Friday’s EDGE” slot on July 5th.

The original work is a popular Korean webtoon and web novel that has been published in 8 languages around the world and has over 16 million views in Japan on LINE Manga (as of May 2024). The main cast includes Maeda Koki and Kubota Sayu.

■The trailer has been released, giving a glimpse into the full story of this fleeting love story!
Born as the heir to the company’s founder, Ichijo Ryohei (Maeda Koki) has had a life perfectly prepared for him. However, one day, he is suddenly involved in an accident that leaves him unconscious… At the same time on the same day as Ryohei, Morikawa Natsumi (Kubota Sayu) also has a different accident and falls unconscious, but a few weeks later, she miraculously wakes up and is released from the hospital.

In the preview, Natsumi is told that she owes Ryohei a “life debt” that she doesn’t remember, and is tasked with finding out the truth behind the accident that Ryohei was involved in. She is given only 49 days to find out… Will Natsumi be able to find the mastermind behind it all?

Furthermore, the Grim Reaper whispers a meaningful line to Ryohei, who has become a ghost: “I’ll never be able to remember you, brother. You said that’s okay, right?” The content stirs up anticipation as to what kind of relationship Natsumi and Ryohei once had, and what turbulent events await the two of them in the future.

■The role of the Grim Reaper will be played by &TEAM’s K!
&TEAM’s K will be playing the role of “Shinigami”! The Grim Reaper finds souls wandering between this world and the afterlife and takes them to the underworld, but he takes an interest in Ryohei and Natsumi and returns Ryohei, who has become a ghost, to Natsumi’s side for 49 days…

K, who is active not only in Japan but also overseas, will be appearing in a terrestrial TV drama for the first time. A part of K’s memorable first acting performance is shown in the trailer.

This will be my first time acting in a drama, so when I heard about it I was very worried and thought “Can I do it?”, but I thought it was a great opportunity and I decided to take on the challenge! I hope you will look at my acting with a kind eye…lol
The Grim Reaper I’m playing this time is a careless character who has no interest in anything and is always a bit of a hassle, but sometimes he shows his human side, so I hope you’ll pay attention to that contrast. There’s also a scene where he dances! lol
