The first wave of 28 artists to appear at the "2024 FNS Music Festival Summer" has been announced! Takashi Sorimachi and Koshi Inaba will make their first appearance, and NewJeans will perform a special medley

The first lineup of artists to perform at the 2024 FNS Music Festival Summer, which will be broadcast live for three and a half hours on Fuji TV from 6:30 p.m. on July 3rd, has been announced.

This year’s “FNS Song Festival” will feature a super luxurious lineup of first-time performers. Actor Takashi Sorimachi will perform “POISON,” the theme song for the legendary drama “GTO Revival,” which made a big splash after a 26-year hiatus in April, together with BLUE ENCOUNT.

In addition, Koshi Inaba (B’z) will make his first solo appearance. He will perform “Stray Hearts,” the theme song for the drama “Even if You Don’t Do It,” which aired last year, on television for the first time.

Also making their first appearance will be Ae! group, the five-member group from Kansai that made their long-awaited CD debut in May, Cho Tokimeki Heart Sendenbu, who are hugely popular especially amongst Gen Z, Omoinotake, whose theme song for the TV drama was a huge hit, ME:I, the 11-member girl group born from the survival audition program “PRODUCE 101 JAPAN THE GIRLS,” and Bullet Train, who are experiencing a meteoric rise following a member reorganization.

Def Tech, who made a big break after their song was used as a commercial song in 2005, and Bubble Gum Brothers, who are celebrating their 45th anniversary since their debut this year, will also be appearing.

Many other gorgeous artists will also be appearing. The five-member girl group NewJeans from Korea, which is taking the world by storm, will make their first appearance in the studio of the “FNS Song Festival”. They will perform a special medley live.

DA PUMP will perform “Pump It Up! feat. TAKUMA THE GREAT,” the JDSF anthem for breaking, which has been gaining attention since it became an official event at the Paris Olympics, together with the junior athletes. Mrs. GREEN APPLE will perform the theme song for a popular movie.

At the Coachella Festival held in April, LE SSERAFIM made headlines by performing on stage as a solo artist in the shortest time since their debut of any Korean artist in history, and they performed their worldwide hit song “EASY.”

The musical project, which has become a regular feature of the FNS Music Festival, will feature Yudai Furukawa and Taiga Kyomoto, who star in the popular musical “Mozart!”

The event will be hosted by Masaki Aiba and Seika Inoue (Fuji TV announcer). The second wave of artists will be announced at a later date.
