Mr.Children will release the theme song “Tabibito of Memories” for the movie “Seishun 18×2: The Road to You” on the day of its release in Japan.

■Many fans have been waiting for the release of the new song “Tabibito of Memories” since the movie trailer was released.

It has been decided that Mr.Children will release the theme song for the movie “Seishun 18 x 2: The Road to You”, “Tabibito of Memories”, on May 3rd, the release date in Japan.

This song is the theme song for the Japan-Taiwanese joint film “Seishun 18 x 2: The Road That Continues to You”, which is the latest film directed by Michihito Fujii, who made “10 Years to Live”, which was a hit with box office revenue of over 3 billion yen, and the first international project. Many fans have been waiting for the release of the song since the release of the movie trailer that uses this song.

“Traveller of Memories” was written by Kazutoshi Sakurai (Vo) at the script stage immediately after receiving an offer from the movie company, and Simon Hale participated in strings and piano. Art direction was by Chie Morimoto (goen°) and photography was by photographer Tamotsu Fujii. This is the latest song since the release of the original album “miss you” in 2023.

Mr.Children will be holding a nationwide arena tour “Mr.Children tour 2024 miss you arena tour” starting July 6th.
