Keisuke Kuwata’s “NHK MUSIC SPECIAL Keisuke Kuwata” will be broadcast as a 90-minute extended special

■Kuwata Keisuke’s extremely rare special live performance will be broadcast as a 90-minute extended special version that includes many songs that didn’t fit into the 45-minute version!

It has been decided that an extended 90-minute special edition of “NHK MUSIC SPECIAL Kuwata Keisuke – An Evening of Jazz, Popular Songs and Chanson in Kobe” will be broadcast.

Keisuke Kuwata’s superb musical time slip show “Jazz, Pop and Chanson Evening – R60” will be held for a total of four shows on March 29th and 30th at Blue Note Tokyo in Aoyama, and on April 5th and 6th at Club Tsukisekai in Kobe. In 2024, Keisuke Kuwata, who will be 68 years old at the time, will sing the jazz, pop and chanson masterpieces that he has been familiar with since childhood and that have become part of him as a musician, with respect and admiration for his predecessors, and with the spirit of learning from the past. The performance in front of an audience of 150 people, the smallest capacity for Keisuke Kuwata’s solo performance to date, attracted a lot of attention.

This extremely rare special live performance, which only a handful of fans were able to witness, was broadcast as a special program on NHK General TV on June 13th, but this time, many songs that did not fit into the 45-minute version will be added this time, and it has been decided that a significantly more powerful expanded special will be broadcast on NHK BS from 8:00 pm on July 11th. The 90-minute program will bring you a full view of Kuwata Keisuke’s special live performance, including “Saint Toi Mommy” (Koshiji Fubuki), “Saraba Koibito” (Sakai Masaaki), “Yoitomake no Uta” (Miwa Akihiro), “Ai wa Katsu” (KAN), “Sayonara wo Mouichido” (Ozaki Kiyohiko), “LOVE”, and more.
