Ano to collaborate with talented high school marching band for one night only! Line-up announced for Music Station 2-hour special

The performers and songs to be performed on “Music Station 2-Hour Special,” which will be broadcast on TV Asahi from 8:00 p.m. on June 14th, have been announced.

■XG’s first performance on Japanese TV! “We’ll give it our all!” (HARVEY)
ano will be performing a one-night special collaboration of their 2022 release “Chu, Diversity” with the Kanto Gakuin Marching Band of Kanto Gakuin Junior and Senior High School in Kanagawa Prefecture.

Regarding the collaboration with the student marching band with the longest history in Japan, a talented band that has won national championships, ano commented, “I think it will be spectacular not only in terms of the music but also in terms of the appearance, so I hope you will look forward to it.”

XG will then perform their long-awaited first performance on Japanese television, performing two songs, “X-GENE” from their first mini-album and “WOKE UP”, a single to be released on May 21st.

“Both songs express the core of XG. I hope you will pay attention to our powerful performance,” said JURIN. HARVEY also expressed his enthusiasm for his first appearance, saying, “It still feels strange to be able to appear as an artist on a show that I’ve been watching since I was in elementary school. I’ll give it my all on stage!”

In addition, Mrs. GREEN APPLE will perform the popular song “Ao to Natsu,” which is the first time it has been performed on Music Station in six years, as well as the theme song for the popular movie “Dear.”

Naniwa Danshi performed “Alpha,” the lead song from their album to be released on June 12th, as well as a cover of Arashi’s hit song “Natsu Hayate” released in 2018.

DA PUMP will be performing their latest single “Pump It Up! feat. TAKUMA THE GREAT” for the first time on television with breakdancer Shigekix, a strong contender for a gold medal at the Paris Olympics.

Then, Shiina Ringo and AI performed “March of the Living,” a song from Shiina’s album “Hojoue,” released on May 29th, on television for the first time.

PSYCHIC FEVER, who will be making their first appearance on Music Station, will perform “Just Like Dat feat. JP THE WAVY”, a collaboration with rapper JP THE WAVY, and THE YELLOW MONKEY, who will be appearing on Music Station for the first time in about five years, will perform “Wana” from their latest album.

In addition, the video special will feature “A ranking of summer songs for youth, as asked to high school students who devote their youth to club activities.” From classic summer songs to the latest summer songs, a string of summer hits will be featured.
